McCord Hospital is characterized by four pillars of service - health care services, education & training, holistic HIV care services and research. General medical care is available through various clinical departments at the hospital.
McCord Hospital remains open for business as usual
Management of McCord Hospital would like to confirm that we are open for business as usual, offering a full service to our patients with the exception of maternity services. Maternity services have been closed temporarily during this transition period. Our patient numbers have dropped off since the announcement in the press regarding the possible closure, but we would like to assure you that we are fully staffed and able to continue to provide full patient care. The Department of Health would like to assure our patients that the McCord services will not terminate after the 31 March 2013. McCord Management and the Department of Health are currently discussing the details of the transition period.
